EVALUATION AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH
It is my duty as a psychologist-in-training to use the power and privileges that come along with doctoral education to help co-create self-sufficient, sustainable, resilient communities.

I accomplish this in two ways: (1) consultation and evaluation services and (2) community engagement and outreach through tabling, invited speeches, and trainings. In the past, I have delivered trainings and lectures on implicit bias in clinical work and evidence-based therapeutic treatments for trauma in adolescent populations. I am available to offer free trainings and lectures to the community. If interested, please e-mail me at kwhaling@ucsb.edu

I have training in consultation and evaluation. For two years, I have been the grant manager of a project evaluating local community agencies who provide services for formerly incarcerated youth, youth currently in gangs, and/or youth at-risk of becoming justice-involved/gang-involved.
